Additionally, it facilitates technological innovation and data management, ensuring the integration of digital solutions to enhance institutional efficiency and academic support systems. Furthermore, it oversees campus operations, including event coordination, transportation services, infrastructure development, and security management, to maintain a safe, organized, and conducive learning environment. Dr. Kurt Candilas, former Dean of Lourdes College's School of Arts and Sciences, has been appointed Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at City College of Cagayan de Oro, holding an Associate Prof V rank. With a PhD in English, Dr. Candilas is a recognized expert in TESOL and educational research, contributing extensively to global education through international conferences, advisory roles, and editorial board memberships.
He has earned accolades such as Outstanding Reviewer of the Year (2023) and Best Research Presenter awards, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and impactful contributions in education, research, and publishing.
