The City College of CDO community is proud to share that two of its academic personnel, Dr. Ray Butch Mahinay, Vice-President for Formation & Social Development Services, and Dr. Joel Potane, Director for Research, recently served as panelists in the 2024 Regional Research Congress of DepEd Region 10, held on January 30-31 at Deluxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.
Their participation, alongside esteemed professors from Central Mindanao University, Xavier University, University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, Capitol University, Liceo de Cagayan University, St. Michael’s College, Lourdes College, and other higher education institutions (HEIs), underscores the vital collaboration between DepEd and HEIs in advancing basic and action research in education. The congress provided a platform for teachers, school heads, supervisors, and administrative personnel of DepEd to present their research studies, fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement in basic education.
