Building Participatory Governance: A Collaborative Focus Group Discussion

The City College of Cagayan de Oro - Office for Lifelong Learning and Professional Development, in collaboration with selected Punong Barangays of Cagayan de Oro, DILG, and CMO-GAD, recently conducted a Focus Group Discussion to strengthen Participatory Governance at the barangay level. This initiative aims to enhance community engagement, promote inclusive decision-making, and foster effective local governance. Through meaningful dialogue, key stakeholders shared insights, challenges, and best practices in advancing citizen participation in governance. Together, we continue to work towards a more responsive and empowered local government.
