On September 2, 2025, the City College of Cagayan de Oro once again extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Adelina Santos-Tankia Myrvang for her generous donation of 854 volumes from the treasured personal library of her late husband, Tor Myrvang.
This second wave of donation was made possible through the invaluable support of Service Masonic Lodge No. 95, who facilitated the linkage and provided local logistics assistance. Special thanks are also extended to Mr. Victor Yu for his role in making this donation possible.
The donation was officially received by the College President, Dr. Jestoni P. Babia, together with selected CCCDO personnel and students, symbolizing the college’s commitment to building a stronger academic community.
Such generosity strengthens the library’s resources, nurturing a culture of reading, research, and lifelong learning. This initiative contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education, ensuring inclusive and equitable access to knowledge.
