The ABLAZE 2025 Closing Assembly marked the culmination of the Welcome Week for the School Year 2025-2026, celebrating leadership, artistry, and unity!

The program opened at 8:00 a.m. with preliminaries led by the Talindaw Chorale, followed by the doxology, national and regional hymns, and an energetic Opening Salvo from the Oro Dayaw Cultural Ensemble. Dr. Jestoni P. Babia, College President, welcomed everyone with a message emphasizing ABLAZE as a platform for collaboration, leadership, and community values.

The introduction of the College’s top management highlighted the institution’s shared governance. A lively performance by Batch Uno preceded the Oath-Taking of the Central Student Government and Student Councils, officiated by Hon. Sacala in place of Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, who could not attend. While Hon. Moreno “Jing” Daba IV and Hon. Paolo Nicolo Gaane were absent, Hon. Kenneth John D. Sacala, SK Federation President, delivered an inspiring message on youth empowerment and civic responsibility.

Festivities continued with a musical performance by Talindaw and the section presentations, where the College of Education emerged first in the chant presentation, followed by the College of Business and Management and the College of Arts and Sciences. The program concluded with acknowledgments, a vibrant mass dance by Oro Dayaw, and the singing of the City College Hymn, leaving the community with pride and unity.

The ABLAZE 2025 Closing Assembly stood as a resounding success—a fitting end to the week that celebrated leadership, talent, and the enduring spirit of the City College community.
