On May 8, 2025, the City College of Cagayan de Oro, through its Extension and Outreach Office, proudly hosted the Philippine Association of Extension Program Implementers (PAEPI) Orientation and Oath Taking Ceremony at the CCCDO Library. This significant event marks a milestone that reinforces the college’s active role in advancing community development through education and outreach.

The program was officially opened by Dr. Ray Butch D. Mahinay, Vice President of Extension and Social Development Services, setting the tone for a meaningful and inspiring event. During the ceremony, CCCDO received its Certificate of Institutional Membership, formally recognizing the college as a member of PAEPI Region X. A total of 22 faculty and staff members also took their oath and received their certificates of individual membership, signifying their personal and professional commitment in extension services.

The orientation and oath taking were facilitated by Dr. Maria Teresa M. Fajardo, President of PAEPI-Region X and Director of the Extension and Community Relations Division of USTP, who inspired the participants to carry forward the mission of transforming lives through inclusive, sustainable, and community-focused programs. The event was also graced and supported by CCCDO College President, Dr. Jestoni P. Babia, whose presence reflects the institution's unwavering support for its extension and social development agenda.

This milestone reflects CCCDO’s continued pursuit of excellence in its extension services, further empowering educators and staff to transform knowledge into meaningful action for the benefit of local communities.
