An exciting milestone for sustainability and community leadership! The City College of Cagayan de Oro and WWF-Philippines have officially sealed partnership with the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on June 1 8, 2025, held at the Legislative Hall Conference Room of the Cagayan de Oro City Hall Compound. This collaboration powers the continued roll-out of the GREEN Learning Series, in support of WWF-Philippines’ No Plastics in Nature initiative, designed to inspire and equip barangay officials, waste workers, youth leaders, and local champions to lead meaningful environmental action in their communities. The ceremonial signing was joined by Dr. Kurt S. Candilas, Vice President for Administration of CCCDO; James Patrick R. Santos, Director of the Linkages and Partnerships Office; Jerome Torres, Director of Lifelong Learning and Professional Development Office of CCCDO; Ms. Chrisma Salao, Director for Programs of WWF-Philippines; and Mr. Julius Guirjen, Program Manager of WWF-Philippines.
Together, CCCDO and WWF-Philippines continue to cultivate green leadership with a spirit of 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯—leaving no one behind in building a sustainable future.
