The City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) attended the YSEALI AMPLIFY 9.0 National Council Summit held in Dumaguete City on August 6–11, 2025. As part of the program, CCCDO conducted benchmarking and campus visits at Foundation University and Silliman University to explore extension practices and partnership opportunities. Representing the College, Ms. Herna Francis Mae B. Tano, Director for Linkages and Partnerships and Extension and Outreach, gained valuable insights on leadership, innovation, and community extension from young leaders nationwide. She also co-presented the RISE Mindanao Project, an initiative supported by the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines and co-implemented by YSEALI Alumni in Mindanao together with CCCDO’s College of Business and Management, Linkages and Partnerships Office, and Extension and Outreach Office.

This engagement reinforces SDG 4: Quality Education by advancing collaborative learning, academic exchange, and inclusive educational practices. At the same time, CCCDO’s active pursuit of partnerships and MOAs contributes to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, fostering stronger cooperation among higher education institutions and community partners for sustainable and long-term impact.

By joining this U.S. Embassy-led activity, CCCDO reaffirms its mission to deliver relevant, responsive, and inclusive programs for students and partner communities—anchoring local action within a global framework for sustainable development.
