The City College of Cagayan de Oro, through its Technology Innovation and Data Management Center (TIDMAC), proudly presented its developed courseware application during the Asia-Pacific Teacher Education for Climate Change Education (ATECCE) Phase 2 Workshop held on September 15–17, 2025 at Cebu Technological University, Cebu City.

Dr. Jestoni Babia, CCCDO President, led the presentation by introducing the team behind the courseware application. This was followed by Dr. Joel Potane, CCCDO VP for Research, who shared the content of the courseware modules designed to strengthen climate resilience education. He emphasized that the materials are tailored to local contexts while aligning with global sustainability goals, making them relevant for both students and educators. The TIDMAC team, composed of Dir. Janice Calapiz, Mr. Fhel Feliciano, and Mr. Eugene Ranoco, then conducted a hands-on demonstration to show participants how to navigate the courseware via website and mobile devices. They also shared the technologies and processes used in its development—including frontend and backend frameworks, progressive web app features, and security protocols, showing their collaborative effort and technical innovation behind the system.

Participants, including representatives from Japanese universities, expressed positive feedback, noting how the platform offered a practical glimpse into localized climate change education and its potential for broader academic use.

This ultimately advances SDGs 4 and 13 through technology-driven learning platforms that equip communities and institutions with the knowledge and skills to build resilience against climate-related risks.
