On September 24, 2025, the City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) gratefully received a roofing paint donation from the Grand CdeO Eagles Club and the Grand CdeO Lady Eagles Group, led by their President Kuya Rowell Ulfato, together with its fellow members. The turnover took place with the presence of CCCDO officials headed by College President, Dr. Jestoni Babia; Vice President for Extension and Social Development Services, Dr. Ray Butch Mahinay; and Director for Extension and Outreach and Linkages and Partnerships Offices, Ms. Herna Francis Mae Tano.
This initiative highlights the shared advocacy of the Grand CdeO Eagles community and CCCDO in advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering improved learning environments and promoting active civic engagement.
Beyond providing resources, this partnership demonstrates how civic organizations can play a vital role in enhancing educational facilities and empowering students. Through the joint efforts of the Grand CdeO Eagles Club, the Lady Eagles Group, and CCCDO, the initiative goes beyond painting roofs—it is about building brighter opportunities for the Kagay-anon youth and strengthening the community they serve. CCCDO is truly grateful to the Grand CdeO Eagles Club and Lady Eagles Group for their generosity and support in helping us build a better learning environment for our students and community.
