City College of Cagayan de Oro is making college accessible! Our successful outreach program to support its admissions drive for Academic Year 2025–2026, through the Guidance, Counseling, and Assessment Services Office led a series of school caravans across twenty-one (21) Senior High Schools in the city, held from January 21 to March 27, 2025. The office also took part in eight (8) Klarex nga Serbisyo sa Baryo (KSB) outreach events to promote the college’s free and quality education programs.
The Klarex nga Edukasyon Admission Team composed of personnel, faculty, and staff from various departments, engaged with nearly 2,000 graduating senior high school students and numerous parents, in introducing the City College’s FREE college and tech-voc programs. The team also highlighted campus life, student support services, and the institution’s strong commitment to holistic development through active community engagement.
Ms. Faith Q. Colarte, RGC, Director of Student Welfare and Services and Head of the Guidance, Counseling, and Assessment Services Office, emphasized the importance of making tertiary education accessible and bringing opportunities closer to the youth. She shared, “City College of Cagayan de Oro offers a LIFE-CHANGING opportunity with a FREE college education, empowering learners and Out-of-School Youths (OSYs) to pursue their dreams and a chance to build a brighter future. Thanks to the leadership of Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy.”
Importantly, City College Admission Test (CCAT) is administered at Agusan Campus every Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 AM am and 2:00 PM. Walk-ins and pre-registered students are welcome.
