In a powerful convergence of purpose, passion, and progress, the City College of Cagayan de Oro hosted its Panaghugpong sa Pag-uswag: a CCCDO Midyear Synergy Summit 2025—a strategic assembly aimed at evaluating the first half of the year’s accomplishments and recalibrating collective goals for the remaining second half of the year.
Held on June 27-28, 2025 at the Apple Tree Resort, Opol, Misamis Oriental, the summit brought together academic and administrative heads, faculty, staff, and key stakeholders for a day of reflection, alignment, and forward planning. This summit served as a unifying call to action for all CCCDO units to reinforce institutional synergy.
CCCDO College President, Dr. Jestoni P. Babia, opened the summit with an inspiring message emphasizing the importance of shared responsibility and data-driven decision-making in achieving CCCDO’s vision of inclusive and transformative education. Key segments of the summit included— introduction to new faculty members, performance review, goal setting and action planning, review of MFOs for 2025, introduction to Times Higher Education, and organizational review.
The Midyear Synergy Summit reaffirmed CCCDO’s role not just as an educational institution but as a dynamic catalyst of inclusive city development. As the college continues to grow, this gathering ensures that its path forward remains aligned, collaborative, and focused on excellence.
