City College of CDO Ranks 56th in the World for Student Support and Engagement in WURI 2025 - Image 1

City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) proudly breaks into the global spotlight, ranking 56th worldwide in Student Support and Engagement (A1) under the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2025—on our very first entry!

This remarkable milestone was made possible through the visionary leadership of College President Dr. Jestoni Babia and the commitment of Dr. Donna Grace Cotejo, Director for Internationalization, who led this outstanding WURI submission with excellence and passion.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy for his unwavering support, along with the 20th City Council, and former Councilor Suzette Magtajas-Daba, who served as the Chair of the Education Committee, for championing access to quality and globally recognized education in Cagayan de Oro.

WURI is a prestigious global ranking that recognizes universities based on innovation, real-world impact, and student-centered initiatives—a perfect match for CCCDO’s mission and values.

From our debut in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings to this latest achievement in WURI, CCCDO continues to prove that even young institutions can make a powerful mark on the world stage.
