The City College of Cagayan de Oro proudly formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Stockbridge American International School, a reputable international learning institution based in General Santos City. The signing was led by Dr. Jestoni P. Babia, President of CCCDO, and Systems Director for Academic Excellence, Prof. Randy Lozano of Stockbridge, and was meaningfully witnessed by Dr. Liz Chua, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Glenn Andrin, School Rector of Stockbridge.

Also present during the ceremony were key academic personnel of CCCDO who will serve as focal persons for the partnership’s academic engagements. These include Dr. Ma. Aira Chenessa Aguilar, Director for Curriculum and Instruction; Dr. Donna Grace Cotejo, BACOMM Program Chair; Prof. Eldin Camposo, Coordinator for Pedagogical Innovations; and Prof. Charlie Job Sumili, Coordinator for Culture and Indigenous Studies.

This partnership represents a significant milestone in the College’s commitment to advancing locally responsive and globally attuned education. It sets the stage for collaborative programs in curriculum development, research initiatives, faculty exchanges, and other forms of academic cooperation.

Aligned with CCCDO’s recent global recognition through the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings and the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), this partnership underscores the institution’s commitment to sustainable, inclusive, and innovative higher education. It also reinforces the goals of SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, highlighting how strategic collaboration can elevate academic standards, strengthen global competencies, and promote accessible and future-ready learning. Through this MOU, CCCDO and Stockbridge affirm their shared dedication to advancing meaningful educational initiatives that resonate both locally and globally.
