The City College of Cagayan de Oro proudly participated in the Higalaay Festival 2025 Civic Parade and Float Competition on August 27, 2025, along the major streets of Cagayan de Oro City. The activity is one of the major events of the annual Higalaay Festival, showcasing the participation of government agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations.
CCCDO’s official float highlighted the institution’s global achievements and milestones— Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025 and World University Rankings for Innovation— remarkable for a young and emerging college. It embodied the mission of advancing inclusive, accessible, and transformative education, while also reflecting the rich cultural heritage and vibrant spirit of Cagayan de Oro. Beyond the float, the CCCDO community showcased its creativity and talent through staff and student performers who presented along the parade route.
