On July 25, 2025, Incoming Central Student Government (CSG) President John Florence Taban and Vice President Axcel Rose Buella led the formal proposal presentation for the registration of the CSG to the Oro Youth Organization Registration Program of the Oro Youth Development Office (OYDO) and the Youth Organization Registration Program of the National Youth Commission (NYC). The initiative aims to strengthen the legitimacy, visibility, and capacity of the student government in advancing student welfare and development.
This milestone reflects the CSG's firm commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering strong linkages with key youth-serving institutions. Through this registration, the CSG envisions deeper collaboration in policymaking, project implementation, and advocacy work that amplifies the voice and participation of young people in local and national development.
