As part of the Mid-Year Synergy Summit 2024 of the City College of Cagayan de Oro, the Human Resource and Management Division led a discussion on the City Government’s Smoke- and Drug-Free Policy. This initiative reinforces the city’s commitment to promoting a healthy, safe, and productive environment in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
The session highlighted key provisions of the executive order implementing the city-wide policy on smoking and drug use. CCCDO personnel participated actively as the primary attendees, engaging in discussions on the harmful effects of smoking and drug use, preventive and intervention strategies, designated smoking areas, and sanctions for policy violations.
Through this discussion, the College continues to uphold its advocacy for health awareness and responsible citizenship within the workplace and the broader community.
