From March to December 2024, the Human Resource and Management Division (HRMD) of the City College of Cagayan de Oro implemented the Learning Circles, a monthly wellness initiative that randomly groups personnel for engaging and meaningful discussions.

These sessions serve as a platform for employees to reflect on their mental and emotional well-being, share experiences, and gain insights on managing workplace stress. Through this program, the College continuously promotes a supportive and healthy work environment.

Across ten sessions, participants explored topics such as gratitude journaling, mindfulness, positive thinking, self-care, respect, perseverance, work-life balance, trust-building, and stress management—all aimed at fostering resilience, optimism, and emotional wellness among the staff.

By encouraging open conversations and holistic growth, the Learning Circles embody the College’s commitment to nurturing not only professional excellence but also the overall well-being of its workforce.
