As part of the BANSAY (Building Abilities towards Needs-Responsive Skills and Yields) Series, the Human Resource and Management Division (HRMD) of the City College of Cagayan de Oro proudly presents a seminar titled “Strengthening Mental Health Awareness and Socio-Emotional Learning in the Workplace.”

The session was facilitated by Dr. Jovelyn Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Northern Bukidnon State College and a Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Teacher awardee. Dr. Delosa led participants in deepening their understanding of mental health issues and their influence on both professional performance and personal well-being.

This seminar also aims to enhance socio-emotional learning by providing practical tools and strategies for managing emotions, building meaningful relationships, and fostering a supportive and mentally healthy workplace culture.

The activity took place on June 22, 2024 (Saturday), from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the City College of Cagayan de Oro Audio-Visual Room (AVR).

Through this initiative, the College continues to uphold its commitment to promoting holistic employee development and mental wellness within the academic community.
