The National Service Training Program (NSTP) of City College of Cagayan de Oro successfully held REAL TALK 2 last November 22, 2024, at the College Covered Court.
The event featured three engaging and meaningful sessions:
That’s My Beshy! – A talk on Sexual Orientation and Gender and Development with Mx. Herna Francis Tano Safe & Sure! – An HIV/AIDS and STI Awareness session with Mx. Raffy Ardemil and Dr. Ronald A. Romano
No Thanks! – A Drug Prevention Talk with Dr. Rhyselle Bernadette M. Descallar, RN, MD
The activity aimed to empower NSTP students with knowledge and understanding on gender inclusivity, health awareness, and responsible living — fostering compassion, respect, and resilience among the youth.
Through this initiative, NSTP strengthened its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being
SDG 5 – Gender Equality
SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
Real Talk 2 once again proved that open conversations lead to real transformation — shaping students who are not only informed but also inspired to make a positive impact. 💬✨
