Leaders and faculty members of the City College of Cagayan de Oro continue to uphold academic excellence and social responsibility through their active participation in various local, regional, and national speaking engagements. Serving as resource speakers, facilitators, and panel discussants in seminars and conferences on human rights education, sustainable tourism, research innovation, and technical-vocational training, they contribute to advancing the institution’s advocacy for inclusive and transformative learning. These engagements strongly align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) as the college continues to empower communities, promote ethical leadership, and champion education as a catalyst for sustainable and equitable development.
