City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) faculty member Dr. Joel D. Potane has co-authored a research article titled “Teachers’ Competence as Enabling Predictor towards Readiness in Digital Learning,” published in the Psychology and Education Multidisciplinary Journal (2024), together with Norman Aleño and Flordeliza Abecia.
The study explored how teachers’ competence influences their readiness for digital learning. Findings revealed a significant and positive relationship between teachers’ skills in integrating digital tools and their preparedness to implement digital learning strategies. The results highlight the crucial role of teacher competence in ensuring effective and sustainable digital education.
