The Revitalizing Innovation for Sustainable Enterprises (RISE) Mindanao, held in Cagayan de Oro City last October 24-25, 2025, brought together 25 entrepreneurs from conflict-affected areas across the island for a two-day bootcamp designed to build digital capacity, enhance business competitiveness, and promote sustainable growth.
Through interactive workshops and guided mentorship, participants gained tools to formalize their enterprises, manage finances digitally, harness AI for innovation, create impactful online content, and nurture leadership habits for sustainable success.
Beyond skill development, RISE Mindanao champions peace, inclusive economic growth, and innovation, supporting key Sustainable Development Goals — particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
This initiative was co-organized by City College of Cagayan de Oro, Capitol University, The American Chamber of Commerce, and Google Developer Groups CDO; supported by the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, YSEALI Amplify 9.0, the Women’s Alliance for Security and Peace (WASP), and FIBERS Collective.
