The City College of Cagayan de Oro continues to uphold its mission of providing accessible and inclusive education by actively participating in Mayor Klarex Uy’s People’s Day, a weekly program that remains ongoing at present. Through this initiative, the College regularly opens its doors to interested applicants wishing to become part of the City College community—either as students or staff—from various sectors of society, with special attention to underrepresented groups.
Each week, representatives from the City College engage directly with the public, offering information on admission procedures, scholarship opportunities, and employment openings. This consistent participation ensures that educational and career pathways remain open and accessible to all Kagay-anons.
The College also takes the opportunity to reaffirm its non-discriminatory and inclusive admissions policy, guaranteeing that all qualified applicants—regardless of gender, socioeconomic background, ethnicity, or disability—are given equal opportunities to pursue higher learning.
By joining the City Government’s ongoing People’s Day activities, the City College of Cagayan de Oro strengthens its commitment to community engagement and empowerment, making education a cornerstone of inclusive development for the Kagay-anons.
