The City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) proudly highlights the participation of Dr. Melody R. Agcito, Head of the College Library Services Office, and Ms. Janice A. Calapiz, Director of the Technology Innovation and Data Management Center (TIDMAC), in the Training on Koha Integrated Library System (ILS) for Public Libraries held on October 22–24, 2025, at the National Library of the Philippines, Metro Manila.
The training provided valuable insights into the use of Koha Integrated Library System (ILS)—an open-source platform designed to streamline library operations, improve cataloging and circulation, and enhance access to information resources. These learnings will contribute to the College’s efforts in strengthening digital transformation and improving library services for students, faculty, and researchers.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by fostering innovation and ensuring equitable access to information and learning opportunities.
