The City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO), together with the City Educational Development Office (CEDO), welcomed 50 senior high school students and their advisers from Balubal National High School and FS Catanico Annex Senior High School for “The Future Trail: A Campus Discovery Tour” on November 18, 2025, at the Audio-Visual Room of CCCDO–Agusan Campus, Cagayan de Oro City.
This campus tour is one of the InnovEd 2025: Co-Creating the Future of Learning activities designed to help graduating students explore future-ready programs, pathways, and opportunities.
Dr. Mark Raymond S. Tan, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, welcomed the participants. He emphasized how CCCDO’s free and quality degree programs, along with its several global recognitions, can open meaningful opportunities for students.
After the brief presentation of the institution's program offerings and TESDA-accredited qualifications, CCCDO and CEDO personnel and students engaged in an open and interactive discussion, addressing questions such as Iskolar sa Dakbayan (ISDA) scholarship process, qualifications and requirements, CCCDO’s admission timelines, practical tips for choosing a college course, and among other related concerns.
To conclude the activity, Ms. Faith Q. Colarte, RGC, Director for Student Welfare and Services, expressed appreciation to the visiting schools and acknowledged CEDO for organizing the campus tour. She emphasized the importance of strong partnerships in guiding students toward informed and meaningful career choices.
