In celebration of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Month 2025, City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) took part in the Ceremonial Signing of Agreement with the Department of Health – Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Cagayan de Oro (DOH–TRC CDO) held on November 21, 2025 at the Limketkai Center.
The event brought together key organizations committed to rehabilitation and community reintegration. Present were Dr. Michelle F. Lopez, MD, MMHOA, FPAFP, OIC–Chief of Hospital III of DOH-TRC; Provincial Director Marigold Cherrie Garrido of TESDA X; Dr. Miraflor Emata, Vocational School Administrator of COBSAT; and Mr. Karl Hein Pios, LPT, Vocational School Administrator of CCCDO.
More than a ceremony, it marked a renewed commitment as all parties reaffirmed the collaboration established in 2023, strengthening support for DOH–TRC residents through vocational training, supervised industry learning, and certification pathways.
This partnership advances SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 8, and SDG 17, demonstrating a shared dedication to holistic rehabilitation and inclusive community development in Cagayan de Oro.
