On December 3โ4, 2025, Dr. Mark Raymond S. Tan, our Vice President for Student Affairs and Services and a member of the CHED Technical Panel for Student Affairs and Services (SAS), served as the resource speaker during the "Capacity-Building Series II: Policy Development on Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign and Anti-Hazing in Higher Education Institutionsโ organized by CHED Regional Office X.
The two-day workshop, held at Pearlmont Hotel, gathered Student Affairs and Services practitioners from various Higher Education Institutions across Region X. The activity aimed to enhance the participantsโ competencies in crafting responsive institutional policies aligned with CMO No. 18, s. 2018 and the Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 11053 or the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018.
Dr. Tan shared his expertise in student affairs, leading discussions focused on developing consistent, student-centered policies that prioritize safety, compliance, and holistic student support. His participation underscored his continued commitment to advancing student welfare and supporting CHED-Xโs efforts to strengthen policy development across higher education institutions in the region.
