The Cadet Officers Candidate Course (COCC) Class 2026 Day 2 activities were successfully conducted on January 29, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at LBC 104 and the CCCDO Covered Court. Intended for ROTC students, the activity aimed to strengthen cadet candidates’ foundational knowledge, technical skills, physical discipline, and overall readiness for military training and leadership development.

The morning session at LBC 104 focused on a comprehensive lecture on the M16A1 rifle, covering its history, characteristics, main parts, magazines, and proper handling procedures. Emphasis was placed on safety and discipline, followed by a demonstration and supervised hands-on practice of the disassembly and assembly process, including the eight cycles of operations, to reinforce technical understanding and confidence.

In the afternoon, cadet candidates participated in dry firing exercises to practice proper firing procedures and firearm safety, then proceeded to the Covered Court for calisthenics, specifically the Air Force Dozen exercises. These activities enhanced physical fitness, teamwork, and mental resilience while supporting the program’s alignment with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), contributing to the holistic development and preparedness of the COCC Class 2026.
