The Cadet Officers Candidate Course (COCC) Class 2026 Day 3 activities were successfully conducted on January 30, 2026, at LBC 104. Designed as a lecture for ROTC students, the session was attended by 20 cadet candidates and two Philippine Air Force (PAF) officers and was facilitated by TSg Al-Zahle S. Ahmad, PAF. The activity aimed to strengthen the cadets’ intellectual foundation, situational awareness, and leadership competence essential to military training and future officer responsibilities.
The morning session focused on the importance of intelligence in the Philippine Air Force and the principles of intelligence operations. Discussions covered various intelligence disciplines, including Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), highlighting their roles, strengths, and limitations in military decision-making and operational effectiveness.
The afternoon session centered on Military Leadership, covering its definition, characteristics, principles, and leadership styles, while emphasizing integrity, discipline, accountability, and adaptability. The Day 3 activities aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), and were successfully implemented, contributing to the holistic development of cadet candidates and preparing them for future leadership roles in the ROTC program and the military institution.
