City College of CDO – Technical Skills and Technology Institute (CCCDO TSTI) has successfully completed its Compliance Audit with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for the opening of Bookkeeping NC III under the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS). The audit thoroughly reviewed our facilities and lecture room, tools and materials, competency-based learning materials (CBLM), and all fundamental and supplemental requirements. We are proud to share that all areas were cleared and officially marked as successfully compliant.

Our sincere appreciation to Ms. Mirasol T. Aput (TESDA Provincial Office UTPRAS Focal) and Ms. Rogeline M. Loreto (Technical Expert, Bookkeeping NC III from COBSAT, Cagayan de Oro City) for their guidance and technical validation. From City College, this milestone was made possible through the strong support of our College President, Jestoni P. Babia, Ed.D, and our Vice President for Academics, Helmae E. Tapanan, Ed.D. It was further driven by the leadership of Mr. Karl Hein M. Pios (Vocational School Administrator – TSTI), alongside the dedicated efforts of Ms. Rica Mae H. La Fuente (Trainer for Bookkeeping NC III) and Ms. Rutche E. Montaño (TSTI UTPRAS Focal Officer).

This achievement marks another strong step toward expanding skills training in Cagayan de Oro City and strengthening our Technical-Vocational education programs. In alignment with our City Mayor – Rolando “Klarex” A. Uy for his RISE Agenda for education and market-driven NC skills training, we remain committed to producing competent, industry-ready graduates who will drive and sustain our growing local economy — Building Dreams, Bridging Progress; TVET at the Core of Change.

This milestone strongly supports the global goals of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education and United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By ensuring that our Bookkeeping NC III offering meets national quality standards, CCCDO TSTI advances access to relevant, high-quality technical education while equipping learners with competencies that open doors to productive employment and sustainable economic participation. Through strengthened TVET programs, the College continues to contribute to both educational excellence and inclusive local economic growth.
