CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — A teacher and a student from the City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) won Best Presentation Awards in the CommTech Indonesia 2026 Virtual Program held from March 2 to 13, 2026.
Prof. Psyche Cambo, a faculty member, and Ma. Mechaella Rodriguez, a student, received the recognition for delivering outstanding presentations among international participants in the global academic program focused on communication, culture, and technology.
The program gathered participants from different countries for virtual lectures, intercultural discussions, and collaborative projects aimed at strengthening global academic exchange.
The CCCDO delegation included Prof. Psyche Cambo, Ma. Mechaella Rodriguez, John Florence Taban, John Lloyd Sabines, Sheena Efril Leuterio, Divine Dale Baaclo, Ken Jamisola, and Mary Clare A. Betancor. A major component of the program was the final project presentation on March 12 under the theme “CommNus Ramadan 2026,” where participants worked in multinational teams to develop and present collaborative outputs.
The CCCDO delegates demonstrated strong teamwork and cross-cultural communication skills, contributing to their performance in the international program.
The delegation was supported by Dr. Donna Grace Cotejo, the Internationalization Director, who facilitated the application and participation of the group.
The recognition highlights CCCDO’s continued engagement in international academic programs and its efforts to produce globally competitive teachers and students.
