City College of Cagayan de Oro, through the College Library Services Office, proudly received a Plaque of Appreciation and the Certified Purple Shelves Champion Badge in recognition of its participation in the Purple Shelves Campaign — a nationwide initiative that promotes gender equality and women empowerment through libraries across the Philippines.
The recognition was awarded by the Philippine Group of Law Librarians, Inc. (PGLL), acknowledging the institution’s commitment to supporting gender-responsive library programs and inclusive access to information.
