In celebration of Earth Month, the College Library Services Office launched the “Green Reads” book display to promote environmental awareness among students, faculty, and library users.
The display featured books about nature, wildlife, climate change, oceans, forests, and sustainability. Through this activity, the library encouraged everyone to learn more about protecting the environment and caring for the Earth.
The “Green Reads” display also highlighted the important role of libraries in promoting awareness, education, and responsible action for a greener future.
This activity supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 13 – Climate Action
- SDG 14 – Life Below Water
- SDG 15 – Life on Land
Through activities like this, the library continues to inspire learning and environmental responsibility within the academic community.
