On May 6, 2026, the City College of Cagayan de Oro successfully underwent a compliance audit from the Commission on Higher Education – Regional Quality Assurance Team (CHED-RQUAT) for its BS Entrepreneurship, BS Office Administration, and BS Social Work programs, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to strengthening institutional quality and academic excellence.
The audit was arranged by the Quality Assurance and Planning Office (QuAPO) and was held concurrently at the AV Room and Library. Present during the activity were City College administrators and faculty members, particularly from the College of Business and Management (CBM) and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).
Representing CHED-RQUAT were Dr. Daryl Glenn B. Pamplona, Dr. Lilia A. Cotejar, Mr. Jamil Macadaag, Mr. Marlo Novino, and Dr. Dionalyn Gumacial, who generously shared their expertise and insights in assessing the institution’s academic programs. Their evaluation aimed to ensure that CCCDO continues to uphold quality standards and deliver responsive, learner-centered education.
The audit included the presentation and validation of documents, program compliance review, inspection of facilities and learning resources, as well as verification of support services and operations.
The activity concluded with the presentation of the initial audit findings and reports for the three academic programs at the AV Room.
The successful conduct of the visit reflects CCCDO’s steadfast pursuit of institutional quality and academic excellence. Through initiatives such as this, the college continues to strengthen its programs and contribute to the advancement of quality education not only within the local community, but also in support of broader national and global development goals.
