The Pakigpulong 2026: Miting de Avance for Piliay โ€“ CCCDO Student Elections 2026 was successfully conducted on May 4, 2026, at the CCCDO Covered Court. The activity served as the official campaign platform for aspiring student leaders to present their platforms, advocacies, and vision to the student body prior to the election. It was also attended by 263 students from across college programs.

Dr. Mark Raymond S. Tan, Vice President of Student Affairs and Services, opened the program by saying that student leaders serve not for recognition, compensation, or rewards, but because of their sincere passion, commitment, and willingness to learn and help others. He further encouraged the community to give elected leaders their full support, cooperation, and respect as they carry out their duties and responsibilities. Through his message, he highlighted the value of responsible leadership, wise voting, and active participation in the democratic process among students.

The opening message was followed by the introduction of candidates. Both independent candidates and political partylist slates were given equal opportunities to present their gimmicks or โ€œpakulo,โ€ opening statements, and speeches. Partylist candidates presented in the following order: Information Officer, Auditor, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, and President. This format ensured organization and fairness in presentation.

Among the highlights of the program was the Agree or Disagree Segment. This portion of the program allowed students to assess the candidatesโ€™ critical thinking skills, standpoints on relevant issues, and ability to articulate their perspectives under time constraints.

The event provided a transparent, organized, and engaging platform for candidates to connect with the student body and for students to make informed choices during the Piliay: CCCDO Student Elections 2026.
