The ASEAN Conference on Extension for Sustainable Development Goals (ACES), organized by the City College of Cagayan de Oro โ Extension and Social Development Services, successfully conducted the Andam Phase at the CCCdO Library. The activity gathered faculty, staff, and partner stakeholders to submit innovative, community, responsive extension project proposals aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
College President Dr. Jestoni P. Babia delivered the welcome message, encouraging active participation and reaffirming the institutionโs commitment to quality education and community service. Ms. Herna Tano presented the Extension Services Orientation, highlighting the importance of outreach programs and the โKlarex nga Serbisyon sa Baryoโ initiative. Dr. Ray Butch Mahinay also shared insights on aligning curriculum with community needs to ensure meaningful extension impact.
The Andam Phase 2026 served as a collaborative platform to strengthen partnerships, promote sustainable programs, and reinforce CCCdOโs mission of academic excellence through responsive community engagement.
