𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐨 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭; 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐂𝐂𝐃𝐎 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲

The Research, Innovation, and Technology Transfer Services (RITTS) Office of City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) officially presented the maiden printed issue of the Oro Journal of Sustainability and Development Research (OJSDR) to the Office of the College President before formally turning over copies to the CCCDO Library on July 3, 2026.

“𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙤 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝘾𝘾𝘿𝙊’𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙙, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙, 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚,” Dr. Jestoni Babia, College President III, said.

The printed copies, with ISSN 3116-5044, were received by Dr. Melody Agcito, College Librarian, as part of the College’s continuing efforts to preserve, make accessible, and promote the utilization of CCCDO-generated research outputs.

While the printed issue was officially presented and turned over last Friday, the online version of the Oro Journal, bearing its registered E-ISSN 3116-5052, was launched on March 31, 2026, and remains accessible for readership through the CCCDO website:

Dr. Joel D. Potane, Director of the RITTS Office, emphasized the significance of making research outputs readily available to the academic community.

"𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙤 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨. 𝙒𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚-𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨," Dr. Potane said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Agcito expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that the journal will enrich the library’s collection and provide valuable references for students, faculty members, and researchers.

This milestone reflects CCCDO’s commitment to fostering a vibrant research culture and advancing knowledge utilization in support of academic excellence, community development, and sustainability.
