The College of Business and Management successfully conducted the CBM Days 2026 from May 12-14, 2026, as part of its continuing commitment to provide students with meaningful opportunities for experiential learning, leadership development, and entrepreneurial engagement. The 3-day  celebration served as a platform for students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial competencies, creativity, innovation, and diverse talents through a series of academic, co-curricular, and socio-cultural activities. The program also reinforced the college's mission of developing globally competitive, ethical, and socially responsible future entrepreneurs equipped with practical knowledge and skills applicable in real-world settings.

The activities formally commenced on May 4, 2026, with a Holy Mass held at Holy Rosary Church, attended by all faculty members. The spiritual activity marked the official beginning of the celebration and provided an opportunity for reflection, thanksgiving, and prayer for the success of the upcoming activities. It also reinforced the institution's commitment to holistic education by integrating spiritual and values formation as an essential aspect of student and faculty development. The gathering fostered unity and strengthened the sense of purpose among faculty members in preparation for the implementation of the program.

Preparatory activities were conducted on May 11, 2026, wherein faculty members dedicated the entire day to stage decoration and booth preparation at the Quadrangle. Through collective effort and collaboration, the venue was transformed into an engaging and vibrant environment conducive to learning and celebration. The preparation involved designing thematic decorations and arranging entrepreneurial booths that would later serve as venues for showcasing students’ creativity, business concepts, and entrepreneurial ventures. The activity reflected the commitment and teamwork of faculty members in ensuring that the event would be organized and visually appealing for all participants and guests.

The official opening of CBM Days 2026 took place on May 12, 2026, at the Quadrangle under the supervision of Dr. Teodosio. The opening ceremony gathered faculty members, students, and guests to formally inaugurate the week-long celebration. One of the highlights of the opening program was the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, symbolizing the formal commencement of activities and the opening of the Asian Enterprise Booth Competition. The competition provided students with an opportunity to conceptualize and operate entrepreneurial booths inspired by different Asian cultures and enterprises. Participants showcased innovative products and services while integrating cultural identity, creativity, and entrepreneurial principles into their presentations.

Simultaneously, the Entrepreneurial Venture Competition commenced, allowing students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial capabilities by applying business concepts and principles in practical settings. Students were given opportunities to operate ventures and engage in actual entrepreneurial activities that simulated real-world business environments. The activity enhanced their understanding of venture creation, operations management, and business sustainability.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Business Pitch Competition was conducted, also under the supervision of Dr. Teodosio. The activity provided participants with a platform to present and defend innovative business ideas before a panel of evaluators. Students demonstrated competencies in business planning, market analysis, problem identification, financial feasibility, and persuasive communication. Participants confidently presented their concepts and addressed questions regarding the viability and sustainability of their proposed ventures. The activity significantly contributed to the enhancement of students’ presentation skills, critical thinking abilities, and entrepreneurial confidence.

On May 13, 2026, various academic and skills-based competitions were conducted during the morning session in different venues across the campus. These activities aimed to strengthen students' competencies in communication, technology, creativity, and analytical thinking.

The Keyboarding Competition, facilitated by Mr. Barillo at the EdTech Room, tested participants’ typing speed and accuracy, emphasizing the importance of digital literacy and efficiency in modern business environments. Simultaneously, the Poster Making Competition, facilitated by Ms. Tano at LBA 202, enabled students to showcase their artistic abilities through visual representations of entrepreneurial themes and concepts.

The Logo Making Competition, also supervised by Ms. Tano at the EdTech Room, challenged participants to develop unique and creative brand identities using principles of design and marketing. Students demonstrated their understanding of branding and visual communication by creating logos that reflected originality, relevance, and market appeal.

At Room 202, the Essay Writing Competition, under the facilitation of Ms. Uayan, provided participants with an opportunity to express their thoughts, insights, and perspectives on entrepreneurial and business-related themes through written communication. Meanwhile, the Quiz Bowl Competition, facilitated by Dr. Orbeta at the AVR, tested students' knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship, business concepts, and related disciplines through an engaging and intellectually stimulating competition.

The culmination activities were held on May 14, 2026, at the Quadrangle and featured one of the most anticipated highlights of the celebration—the Mr. and Ms. CBM Ambassadors 2026: Eco-Chic Runway Competition, under the supervision of Dr. Orbeta. The competition highlighted creativity, sustainability, and environmental awareness as contestants showcased innovative attire made from recycled and environmentally friendly materials. The activity promoted environmental consciousness while encouraging participants to demonstrate confidence, creativity, and stage presence.

To further enrich the celebration, intermission activities were conducted in between competition segments, including the Singing Competition facilitated by Ms. Uayan and the Dance Competition supervised by Mr. Barillo. These activities showcased the students' talents and artistic abilities while fostering camaraderie, self-expression, and appreciation of diverse skills and interests.

The event concluded with the Awarding and Recognition Ceremony, where winners and participants from various competitions were formally recognized and commended for their efforts and achievements throughout the celebration. Certificates, awards, and tokens of recognition were presented to deserving students, highlighting the value of excellence, hard work, and active participation.

Overall, the conduct of CBM Week 2026 was successful in achieving its intended objectives. The celebration provided students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities that strengthened entrepreneurial competencies, leadership capabilities, creativity, communication skills, and teamwork. It also reinforced the importance of innovation and practical application of knowledge beyond the classroom setting.

Despite minor challenges encountered in terms of schedule coordination, simultaneous activity management, and logistical adjustments, the dedication and collaborative efforts of faculty members, organizers, and students ensured the smooth implementation of the entire program.

The success of CBM Week 2026 serves as a testament to the commitment of the College of Business and Management in providing transformative educational experiences that cultivate not only competent entrepreneurs but also socially responsible and future-ready individuals.
