The spirit of volunteerism and environmental responsibility came alive as the City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) Faculty and Staff joined the Lambago Tree Growing: Year 4 on August 22, 2026, at Barangay Balulang, Cagayan de Oro City.
With hands in the soil and hearts committed to a greener future, the CCCDO community came together to plant not only trees but also hope for generations to come.
The activity served as a meaningful reminder that environmental protection is a shared responsibility. Every seedling planted represents a promise to nurture our communities, protect our natural resources, and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient Cagayan de Oro.
For CCCDO, service goes beyond the classroom. It extends to the community, the environment, and the future we collectively build. Through active participation in initiatives like Lambago Tree Growing, our faculty and staff continue to embody the values of volunteerism, civic responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
One tree may begin with a single hand, but a forest begins when many hands come together.
