Earlier today, the City College of Cagayan de Oro held an exploratory meeting with the Philippine Information Agency Northern Mindanao (PIA) through its International Linkages and Promotions Office. Led by Mr. JP Santos, ILPO Director, the team met with the Regional Director of PIA X, Mr. Franklin Gumapon to discuss possible key areas of partnership opportunities for promoting the institution's soon-to-offer 4-year degree courses and additional technical-vocational diploma programs set to commence this August 2024.
During the meeting, RD Gumapon expressed his support and willingness to assist in promoting the institution's offerings through PIA’s various platforms. He emphasized the importance of reaching diverse audiences, particularly the youth in the upland communities, ensuring that educational opportunities are accessible to all.
This collaborative initiative signifies City College of CDO’s commitment, under the leadership of Mayor Rolando \"Klarex\" A. Uy, to advance quality education for the Kagay-anons. As both organizations move forward, they aim to leverage media platforms to engage and inform target beneficiaries across the city and the region.
