More than eighty (80) personnel, faculty, and non-teaching staff from the City College of Cagayan de Oro participated in the Higalaay Civic Military Parade and Float Competition yesterday, August 27, 2024, as part of the city's fiesta celebration.
At 6:00 AM, the City College of CDO, dressed in vibrant green, began marching from Don Apolinar Velez St. to LimKet Kai Center alongside local and national government agencies. The nearly 4-hour parade also featured a float competition that showcased the creativity of various establishments and organizations.
In his fiesta message, Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy expressed gratitude to the Almighty, the private and public entities that participated, Department Managers, the 20th City Council led by Vice Mayor Jocelyn “Bebot” Rodriguez, public safety officers, and the media partners who contributed to the event's success.
