On April 24, 2024, the Technical Skills and Technology Institute (TSTI) of the City College of Cagayan de Oro welcomed the new batch of trainees from different qualifications for Quarter 2. A total of 204 new student-trainees were introduced to the history, activities and programs, and the rules and regulations set by the institution.
Dr. Ray Butch D. Mahinay, Vice President for Academics shared the importance of building the self in terms of acquiring new skills as well as achieving one's dream through determination and hard work. He also introduced the new faculty members of the Higher Education, Vice Presidents, and Deans. Additionally, Mr. Jerome L. Torres, Vocational School Administrator of TSTI also introduced the teaching and non-teaching personnel under the Technical Skills and Technology Institute.
This new batch of trainees are from Electrical Installation and Maintenance NCII, Carpentry NCII, Plumbing NCI, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NCI/NCII, Barangay Health Services NCII, and Housekeeping NCII.
