On April 19, 2024, the City College of Cagayan de Oro welcomed the Intellectual Property (IP) Academy of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL)!
Over 60 faculty and staff members of the City College of Cagayan de Oro actively participated in the program, gaining valuable knowledge about intellectual property.
The event was graced with the presence of Dr. Frederick P. Romero, Rosette Anne R. Consolacion, Engr. Kevin U. Facun, and Ms. Jessah Marsamolo from IP Academy tackling the subject areas of IP systems, proper trademarks, and the intricacies of patents.
This IP Roadshow provides a springboard for the City College of Cagayan de Oro faculty and staff for an in-depth understanding of intellectual property. With this, City College of Cagayan de Oro can better guide students, fostering innovation and creativity within the academic community geared towards holistic development.
