On April 12, 2024, an exploratory meeting with the Batulong Foundation—a Canitoan-based organization, was conducted to shed light on a shared commitment to education. With a mission extending from kindergarten to college, the foundation advocates for every youth's dream of a brighter future.
In attendance were Mr. JP Santos and Mr. AJ Suprito from the City College of Cagayan de Oro as well as representatives of the foundation, including its Chairman, Mr. Max Wermuth, and his wife; General Manager, Mr. Keno Solis; and Registered Social Worker, Ms. Aiza Sumalian.
Significantly, the foundation's interest in the technical vocational programs offered by the City College of Cagayan de Oro heralds a promising avenue for their graduates to attain valuable skills and knowledge for the workforce.
