On April 25, 2024, the City College of Cagayan de Oro through its International Linkages and Promotions Office (ILPO) initiated an exploratory meeting with Set Forth Philippines—a Cebu-based non-government organization (NGO) that empowers communities by providing every Filipino child with fair and easily accessible learning opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Mr. AJ Suprito, Partnerships Focal Person; Mr. JP Santos, Director for International Linkages and Promotions; and Dr. Ma. Aira Chenessa B. Aguilar, Dean for Curriculum and Instruction from the City College of Cagayan de Oro, along with Mr. John Nicko Coyoca, Chief Coordinator for Program & Secretariat; and Mr. John Joseph De la Corta, Chief Coordinator for Operations and Logistics Mobilization.
The meeting revolved around potential areas where both parties may collaborate including but not limited to livelihood programs, provision of comprehensive training materials, and a strong emphasis on youth empowerment and leadership development.
The meeting was a collaborative endeavor that resonated with their shared commitment to fostering sustainable growth and empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential.
