The City College of Cagayan de Oro was pleased to accept the invitation extended by Dr. Arturo B. Bayocot, CESO III, Regional Director of DepEd Region X – Northern Mindanao, to participate and contribute to discussions on the Development of Assessment for Self-Learning Modules Aligned with Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) that took place at Hotel Conchita, Yacapin Street, Cagayan de Oro City, last May 6-10, 2024.
On May 8, 2024, Dr. Ma. Aira Chenessa Benitez-Aguilar, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction at the City College of Cagayan de Oro, served as the speaker. Dr. Aguilar's insights on HOTS Formative Assessment offered crucial guidance to the different school heads from 14 divisions, enriching their understanding of the current trends in assessment methods aligned with Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).
