This study examines the implementation of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in the Philippines through reflections and thematic analysis by doctoral students. Key areas explored include andragogy, policy, curriculum, learning modalities, Community Learning Centers, assessments, and post-program pathways. While ALS is valued for its flexibility and inclusivity, challenges persist in policy implementation, resource allocation, and technology access. The report provides insights into improving ALS to better serve out-of-school youth and adults.
