In celebration of Women's Month, the City College of Cagayan de Oro - Gender and Development (CCCDO-GAD), in partnership with the Technical Skills & Technology Institute (TSTI), successfully conducted \"Eba Ka Talaga\", a 4-hour basic electrical skills training under Install Electrical Protective Devices unit of competency.

The training, facilitated by Mr. Romulo Arana provided over 70 solo parents and Kalipi members with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in installing electrical protective devices. The session aimed to empower women by equipping them with practical knowledge that can be applied at home or even serve as a foundation for future technical endeavors.

This event was made possible through the valuable collaboration of CDO's City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Office, represented by Ms. Mary Apple Dawn Tabafa, Social Welfare Assistant and GAD/Solo Parent Focal Person, Solo Parent Program-Cagayan de Oro, and Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI). Their support and participation played a crucial role in ensuring the success of this initiative.

The CCCDO-GAD remains committed to fostering gender equality through skills development, ensuring that women, especially solo parents, are given opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
