The City College of Cagayan de Oro, in partnership with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), conducted a Gender Sensitivity in the Workplace training on March 18, 2025.

Facilitated by A1C Gregory Louis Cadeatan Magbanua, PAFR, CFMP, PCW’s Gender & Development Specialist II, the session aimed to create a more inclusive and equitable work environment by promoting gender inclusivity, addressing biases, and implementing gender-fair practices in professional settings.

The training equipped non-teaching personnel with insights on gender issues, biases, and inclusive workplace practices. Participants engaged in discussions on challenging stereotypes, ensuring fairness, and applying gender-fair communication to foster a more inclusive and productive work environment.

The City College of CDO reinforces its commitment to creating a workplace where diversity is embraced, equal opportunities are ensured, and every individual feel valued.
